In September, 2007 SSA, NIPOST Branch had its election in Egor, Benin-City, Nigeria. The Conference was graced by comrades from other sector and delegates from the Thirty-Three Chapters of the Federation. Lots of events were packaged to make the occasion a memorable one, and the 2nd edition of the Newslink Magazine was also launched. The out-going Executives were fully on ground while the aspiring ones were busy with the peaceful campaign.
However, various reports were read to clarify issues and interractive session gave the delegates the opportunity to ask questions and pass their recommendations. Presidential Speech delivered by the out-going President who was full of joy for successful completion of two great tenures. We cannot overlook the effort of this 1st President of NIPOST Branch and his experience which will be needed to tap from at any point in time. In this wise, Comrade Prince C. O. Adewunmi was unanimously made the Association's Adviser.
Mallam Mori Baba, the Postmaster General of the Federation was on ground. Labour normally use this kind of avenue to table some bordering issues to Management, which was not left out and the Postmaster General in his progressive approach noted those issues and promise to see to them.
It was a great occasion and the new Executives were sworn in.
