06-01-2009 The course was mainly on Effective leadership,the countries which participated were, Kenya,Uganda,Tanzania,Malawi,Zimbabwe,Zambia, and South africa.
The Main Resource person was Mr. Luis ,the course was arranged in modules as follows
1. Module 1-core leadership- objectives of the course and course plan,Decision-making excercise, Union growth and union impact: vision
The leadership's responsibility,functions and policy
2. Module 11- Union Field Analysis- operational Efficiency Policy,mission statement
3. Module 111- Strategy-defining major strategies
4. Module 1V-Planning- Project planning,Project concept paper,LFA and specific SSO(requirements and timetable), Project Formulaiton practice: (matric and |Project formulation form)
