ATGWU joined the rest of the world to commemorate the World AIDS Day. This year's message was to encourage the workers to test and know their sero status so as to take an informed decision and behavioral change.
The activities were carried out at Katuna; Uganda/Rwanda Border post where a number of organisations had an exhibition of what they are doing in the fight against HIV/AIDS. ATGWU stall attracted many people and they appreciated the role played by a workers' organisation in fighting the epidemic.
ATGWU appeals to whoverver reads this message to go and test for HIV.
