LONG QUEUES REAPPEARED IN BANKS

Long queues have now re-appeared at the banks.

Meanwhile, the new Government has clinced a deal with teachers are expected to resume work on Monday (01/03/09) given a grace period of up to 09/03/09 which means to say, teachers who failed to report to work on time are deemed to be absent from work.

On the other hand, the Prime Minister has cautioned businessman  not to unnecessarily raise prices of commodities.

As the new Prime Minister takes office, he find it fit for civil servants to open up Foreign Currency Accounts (FCA) to facilitate payment of relief allowances which were awarded as food hampers  by the previous regime and later on  redeemed as Cash by the Banks but were not readily accepted by the Civil Servants.
