PHILIP BOWYER RETIRES FROM UNI
Philip Bowyer- current UNI Deputy Genral Secretary is set to retire from office this March 2010.
UNI Global Union have announced the retirement of Philip Bowyer - UNI Deputy General Secretary at the end of March 2010. Announcing the retirement of Philip Bowyer, UNI General Secretary, Philip Jennings said in a UNI Circular to all affiliates that Ms Christy Hoffman had been appointed to take up the position.
Ms. Christy Hoffman is a member of the UNI World Executive Board and has worked for a number of unions in the USA. She previously worked with the UNI Property Services Global Union from 2004 to 2008 and is therefore no stranger to UNI.
ZUFIAW is pleased with the appointment of a female to this very important position and joins the rest of the affiliates in welcoming Ms. Hoofman back to UNI and wishes her every success.
